Chief Matthew J. Pinard reports that a local woman was arrested on drug-related charges Sunday following an extensive investigation by Littleton Police.
DAWN FLYNN, AGE 47, OF AYER, was charged with two felonies:
- Possession of a Class A Drug with Intent to Distribute (heroin)
- Possession of a Class B Drug With Intent to Distribute (methamphetamine)
Approximately two months ago, Littleton Police became aware of and began an investigation into a woman, later identified as FLYNN, who was believed to be selling drugs in the area.
As a result of their investigation, on Sunday, June 7, at approximately 7:30 a.m., several members of the Littleton Police Department, including K-9 Vojak, executed a search warrant at FLYNN’s Little Road home in Ayer with the assistance of the Ayer, Boxborough, Groton, Pepperell and Maynard Police departments.
During a subsequent search of the home, police allegedly found just over 7.6 grams of heroin and four grams of Methamphetamine, as well as three scales.
FLYNN was taken into custody without incident on June 7. She was arraigned today, Monday, June 8, at the Ayer District Court. At her arraignment, Judge Margaret Guzman set bail in this case at $5,000 and ordered bail revoked in an open case. The next date in this case is Friday, July 10.
“This arrest was made possible through thorough investigation by members of our department,” Chief Pinard said, “and I want to thank all of our partner agencies who supported the investigation and arrest.”
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
